Every club has to affiliate each season. Affiliation is the process by which clubs “register” with their County Football Association, allowing them to play affiliated football for the new season. It involves telling the county which teams you’ll be running, as well as the key officers and team officials involved in running your club. ​ Forest Youth FC are affiliated to Wiltshire FA.

We pay for qualified referees on match day but nobody involved in running Forest Youth is paid, it is run by a team of volunteers.

The FA definition is the school year from September that they turn that age for example U8s will be the school year they turn 8. You can play up an age group but not down. Under 5s - Reception Under 6s - Year 1 Under 7s - Year 2 Under 8s - Year 3 Under 9s - Year 4 Under 10s - Year 5 Under 11s - Year 6 Under 12s - Year 7 Under 13s - Year 8 Under 14s - Year 9 Under 15s - Year 10 Under 16s - Year 11 Under 17s - Year 12 Under 18s - Year 13

The teams play in either the Mid Wilts League or the Wiltshire Womens and Girls League

The U8s, U14s and U15 Girls train on Wednesday evening. The U6s train on Saturday mornings. The U8s and U15 Girls play matches on Saturday mornings.

As the players go up each year it moves from U7s 5-a-side to U18s 11-a-side with typical no more than 3-5 substitutes. You can find specific details in the FA Rules.

Yes, we certainly encourage you to bring your child to one of training sessions as a taster to see if it's right for them.

In 2022-23 this is £140 for the year. This can be a one off payment of £140 or, an initial payment of £70 and then a further payments of £70 on the 1st of February.

No, subs are included in your annual membership, so no additional payment is required on match days.

Yes, match kit is included in your club fees.
